About this artwork

Artist Paula Martino displays three heritage turkeys standing in front of a barn. She paints a calm lake surrounded by trees in the distance of the pastoral landscape. The dark background brilliantly highlights the white plumes of the birds and beautifully compliments the brushwork of the feathers. Paula primarily uses a hog hair brush in earth-tone hues for the rustic atmosphere.
