About this artwork

This vibrant sculptural mosaic features reclaimed wood, driftwood, yardsticks, colorful domino blanks, Montessori counting sticks, and hand-sanded blocks. The artwork unites salvaged and neglected pieces of wood into a cohesive puzzle. This artwork explores the interplay of shadow and light, the contrast of new and old, and themes of decay and renewal. Ultimately, it depicts the irony found in the harmony of an oxymoron.
