About this artwork

Green fields and trees form a playful patchwork in a valley. Cool tones set a calm mood to the landscape while vertical lines guide the eye. Artist Rob van Hoek used the back of a paintbrush, cotton swabs, and kitchen paper to etch details onto the composition. The title of the artwork comes from a song by Mostly Autumn.
