About this artwork

Trees, fields, and the distant horizon create a landscape with an unusual perspective. White birds in flight draw the eye upward, adding movement to the scene. Artist Rob van Hoek used the back of a paintbrush, cotton swabs, and kitchen paper to add texture and details. The title comes from a song by Manassas.
