About this artwork

In the style of realism, artist Nick Savides displays an urban cityscape on the corner of Lafayette Street and East Houston Street in NoHo. Big billboards dominate the scene in different aspects of the composition. The shadow cast by the building on the left divides the foreground and the background. The space is complex with the glass wall both see-through and reflective, describes Nick. He builds the background with simplicity and depth where the viewer can follow the perspective lines all the way to the horizon.
