About this artwork

For artist Darlene McElroy, a person's posture can reveal much about their attitude. In her mixed-media artwork, a woman in a white dress stands with her back turned and hands on her hips. She gazes into a scene filled with abstract designs, letters, and naturalistic elements. She used acrylic paint, collages, dimensional objects, and die-cut handmade paper to create the piece.
