About this artwork

I like the Ramones song, and  I've always tried to imagine what Sheena might have looked like, so I picture her like this. I found a loose piece of canvas and began painting on it, very wet, and then drew into the wet paint with charcoal, dissolving as it went. A very cool effect, but nevertheless I felt I needed to paint over the line-work to strengthen it with a strong color scheme. 

This piece is on a gallery wrapped canvas with finished edges. It comes ready to hang.
