About this artwork
Ethereal and strong washes of color cover the canvas, some spreading across the surface at an angle reminiscent of the last light of the day. Many areas of interest, with blocks of color, geometric shapes, textured paint, playful drawing and subtle reference to space. Created using multiple layers of opaque and transparent glazes. The title comes from a line in the song Jimi Thing from Dave Matthews Band.
