About this artwork

"This realist painting tips the hat to all bugs that pollinate our food, with a modern twist," says Dwight. "I love playing with the scale of objects that make up most of my watercolors. The plums and basket appear normal until you rest your gaze on the ladder. This pushes your senses and gives a modern feel to a traditional subject."
