About this artwork

Artist Maximilian Damico depicts Havel's Market, a permanent market in the city center of Prague, Czech Republic. Painted first on location and then later finished in his studio, Maximilian captured the busy street under a bright sunny day. Street vendors sell from their stalls handmade products including arts and crafts, wooden toys and puppets, leather goods and ceramics, as well as fresh flowers and produce. Visitors flock to the center buying from one stall to the next.
