About this artwork

A small port in Salermo, near Italy's Amalfi Coast, bustles with activity. Local fishermen fix and prepare their moored boats. Painted on location, artist Maximilian Damico used the wet-on-wet watercolor technique to capture the essence of moving water, surrounding architecture, and the vibrant coastal life.
