About this artwork
I toned the canvas with a hot pink to start and added the colors. Initially I was going to have white flowers but in mid-painting, I wanted to make these flowers more peony like and pink. But I decided to go back to the white flowers because they look so dreamy. The sides of the canvas are painted hot pink. This painting will arrive varnished and wired on the back, ready to hang.
