About this artwork

Snow from the previous evening slowly melts. It’s cold outside, but a warm glow emanates from Red’s Diner. Red and Rubie bought the diner after The War. Red had become one of the best cooks in the army, and Rubie had worked as a skilled waitress in diners for years. Business boomed from the start, so they brought in Cousin Betty as a second waitress. Red painted their diner in Cadmium Red Light, with a touch of Cadmium Yellow Light to give it a nice glow.
