About this artwork

Here is a gestural palette knife painting with highly textured impasto flowers. I build up layers of paint by laying the background, and then the flowers on top with sweeps of buttery oil paint. It is very elegant and richly colored, with depth and a lovely play of light through the flowers. Sides are painted with continued pattern, and it is wired ready to hang.
