About this artwork

I found this scene driving between Richmond and Eagle Lake, Texas on the southwest side of Houston. What started out as a gray overcast spring morning gave way to breaking clouds and blue sky peering though the breaks. This piece was painted loosely and spontaneously with combination of brush and palette knife.
