About this artwork

Oil painting on gesso board.

While sitting in a cafe overlooking the Mediterranean, I saw a young couple sitting at the table next to me.  When they left I noticed these two small cups on the table.  The cups looked very intimate and began to create "my story" about the couple.  I call the painting "Chance Encounter."
