About this artwork

Coastal-inspired abstract painting created withgestural brushstrokes of cool blues contrasted with bright pops of yellow-green and orange. Artist Sarah Parsons played up the moody feeling of a cloudy day at beach, with bright light breaking through fast-moving clouds and waves crashing along the shore. Sweeps of black paint recall seabirds diving into the water.
