About this artwork
Artist Christopher Garvey displays an allegory of his own firmness or lack thereof. He paints a fruit bowl but incorporates billiard balls in the work. A representation of being a people pleaser to a detriment. As I continue to age, I've come to realize that I need to sometimes be firm in my decisions and at other times, relax more, says Christopher.
