About this artwork
A young woman sits alone in the back of a taxi, oblivious to the city blurring past. The contrast between her brightly lit face and hand with the dark surroundings adds a sense of solitude to the scene. It is easy to imagine that she is texting, expressing gratitude for a delightful dinner. In another scenario, she might be checking sports scores, and unfortunately, she's a Mets fan.
