About this artwork
A young boy loses track of time building a sandcastle. He starts in the morning, and when he finally realizes it's time for a lunch break, it's already dinnertime. Undeterred, he persists and continues working for a couple more hours until he finishes and heads home. Simultaneously, the gorgeous sunset paints the beach in vivid orange hues.
