About this artwork
In 2016, I inherited an envelope of old photographs my mother had taken at a closed and soon-to-be-demolished icon of my area, Idora Park. This old amusement park holds many memories for so many people; it lives in dreams of youthful times gone forever. My mother danced at concerts there in the 30's, my brother in the 50's, and I rode the rides in the 60's. The artwork has been mounted on a 12" x 8" foam board for stability.
