About this artwork

We all have fantasies when we grow up. Being raised on a ranch in the Southwest, I always saw snakes has a wonderful, sacred object. I wanted to portray them in these piece decorated and with metal leaf to reflect that feeling. I added the flowers and bees that are part of the snake's world.I used an air drying clay to give the snake dimension.
