About this artwork
Errol and John are caught here in the midst of doing absolutely nothing except enjoying one another's company. It is a beautiful, vibrant day and the only sounds are the gentle breeze in the grass and the distant hum of a happy, red airplane. These are the days. The piece is made of hand cut and torn paper adhered to a cradled masonite panel with matte medium. The sides are finished with torn scraps of different shades of solid blue colors and green grassy textures, as a continuation of the background. The work comes wired to hang.
