Art work from My Fall Alley Series Beautiful and Fantastic Central Park. My silk paintings are wall hangings. Stretched over stretcher bur sides are painted and ready to be hang. The painted silk looks beautiful after steaming; the colors become brighter and more intense, and the full sheen of the silk is restored. Now you can wash it, the color won't come off. You don’t need to wash wall hangings though; the color will stay for a long time like oil paint.
