About this artwork
Lavender Garden is made of hand-dyed cotton and canvas. It is inspired by soft lavender and spring blooms, and represents balance with the earth. The piece pairs well with Lavender Sky.To create the piece, I ripped fabric into strips of various sizes. I dipped each strip into a high-end archival glue. Next, I formed each strip into a rose and placed it on a cradled wood panel to create the clustered arrangement.This artwork is wired to hang both horizontally and vertically. The piece can be easily cleaned with canned air.
