About this artwork
A tapestry depicts an abstract landscape. Dark blue fields, bordered by two red bands, stretch beneath a sky of thin clouds. Inspired by Abstract Expressionists such as Mark Rothko and Barnett Newman, the work engages with the concept of Color Field painting.
