About this artwork

This diptych was a precursor to Carole'scurrent Churn series of waterlilies. The collection comments on the concepts of transcendence arising from the muck, and of the possibility of enlightenment in a busy, chaotic world. She greatly enjoyed creating this piece using finger painting.This piece is a diptych, meaning it is composed of two separate gallery wrapped canvases each measuring 24x24.
