About this artwork
Artist John McCabe pictures a vintage camper in an illustrative style reminiscent of pop art. He reveals that the trailer is a bit ironic as one of his least favorite activities is camping. But if I were to go camping, I would like to do it in a trailer like this, says John. The piece serves as a cover for his 2022 EP, No One Ever Says, and as a show poster for his local Orange County performances. It also may be an homage to Evan Dando's songÑI Lied About BeingÑThe Outdoor Type.
