About this artwork

Fluid, abstract shapes overlap across a pale background. Inspired by Georgia O’Keeffe’s ability to transform natural forms into evocative abstractions, artist Mabel Serena creates a composition that suggests an imagined landscape. Layered glazes and translucent passages of acrylic paint lend the forms a sense of depth and movement. The artwork arrives carefully rolled in a protective tube.
