About this artwork

"As I did some research on different types of dances around the world, I got to discover more about fan dancers," shares artist Diana Elena Chelaru. Depicted in this modernist rendition is a figure holding a fan in one hand, gracefully moving about as if floating in the water. "I enjoyed working on this theme, so I am planning to have more compositions inspired by it."
