I have neglected to paint a self-portrait for most of my career, says artist Nava Lundy. So I knew when I did decide to do it, I wanted it to be powerful. We are all just black and white without color. Nava reveals the inner self by symbolically painting the colors across. Bursts of color are unveiled in one sweeping brush.
