About this artwork

My mom gave my wife and me several cast iron pans of various sizes, says artist Dwight Smith of the setup for this realist still life. I enjoy cooking with them, and using them for painting. The bright red apples pop resting inside of the pan. A lot of butter with spices and we are ready to cook.
