About this artwork
Artist Heejin Sutton portrays a small white fox sitting on top of a geometric plane with purple corals growing at the bottom. I placed two objects that can not be seen together in real life to present the imbalances and irregularities in our world, explains Heejin. Hate and love, good and evil, joy and sorrow. However, in my painting, the imbalance is hidden. Instead, tranquility, peace, and happiness stand out. I want to show the happiness and peace we continually pursue and long for, even in the middle of this imperfect world.
