About this artwork

Overflow is an original watercolor painted on heavy weight paper. I eliminated the proper scale of what should be to get my ideas across. After seeing this barn I thought of large red apples stacked inside with them coming out of the roof. A supernatural harvest. It is the unexpected overflow of what could happen in life. All you can do is smile when it happens. I loved the idea of a weathered barn with lush red apples inside.
