I love painting figurative paintings in watercolor! I like to work as quickly as possible, adding color upon color while still wet and creating spontaneous combinations within the flesh tones to bring life and vitality to the skin. Watercolor is the perfect medium for this due to its inherent brilliance. This painting was done from a lovely model who posed for me in my studio.The piece is on heavyweight paper and will need a frame for display.
