About this artwork

This painting was inspired by a plein air outing in southern Kentucky. The moist air created a softness that I wanted to express in the painting. Using watercolor loosely, dripping in paint and letting it merge, I created the soft effects. The size of the painting includes a 1/2 inch white border. It was created using the finest professional watercolor materials available. The painting will require framing for display.
