About this artwork

A small bird perches on a narrow branch. Soft browns shape its body, while darker strokes define its head and wings. Against a white background, the bird remains the focal point. The freedom of watercolor allows artist Sally Adams to reimagine her beloved feathery friends. Her paintings are inspired by photographer, Paul Birtwhistle. The piece comes mounted on a cradled wood panel, waxed to protect against moisture, dirt, and UV light.
