About this artwork
For decades, this has been a common scene in rural America, a basketball goal attached to the side of a barn. I've heard people say, if they didn't have a basketball handy (or it got lost in high weeds) they would use anything, even a rolled up ball of twine. Once school was out, afternoon chores always turned into a round or two of hoops. This painting has been produced with the finest watercolor materials available. It will require framing for display.
