I'm Here
About this artwork
Expressionist linocut printmaking of a figure peering up, surrounded in a web of thought. Natalia used a technique she describes as 'automatic drawing' where vigorous lines make up the face. In all the graphics, I avoid additional attributes that might divert the attention from the essential topic as the human being, she explains. The work is a sort of call, arousing the interest, but also the voice of the opposition to fate's adversities. Printed by hand on Velin d'Arches paper using Charbonnel ink.
