About this artwork

In this painting, as I often do, I'm thinking about color. The colors here are green, yellow and purple. Think New Orleans colors although I think of those in a slightly different shade. The green and purple are evident. But the yellow is found subtly in the skin tones of the model. The colors don't scream at you. But I think there is a harmony that ties the composition together.
