One pose I consistently return to in my figurative work is the arched back. I'm not sure if it's the inherent curving lines in such a pose, or the striking confidence it exudes, but there is something about the arch of the back that draws me in. It's feminine, powerful, free. This Curly Girl is no exception; her hair flying around her as she throws herself back, she's the free spirit we all long to be.
