About this artwork

We often take a drive on the weekends out of the San Francisco Bay, to Monterey Bay. As my husband played with the kids, I captured this moment with my knives, where despite the drought, the Lupins were blooming serendipitously.The luminous white sand of Carmel Beach, Pacific aquamarine blues, and purple lupins make a beautiful coastal color palette. Sides are painted with gallery wrap finish, and it is wired, ready to hang.
