About this artwork
I am currently returning to certain attributes I first discovered in my process. Specifically, I am returning to investigate the subtle variations of a single color scheme. The nuances in this piece are so subtle, it takes about 15 to 20 minutes for the under-layers to reveal themselves. My painting has come to a stand still this year. mainly due to forgetting my love to create. I want this painting to express a stillness; a moment when all seems so uncertain, that we have to wait painfully and patiently for the new to unfold. This work comes with gallery wrapped canvas with painted white borders, and comes wired ready to hang.
