I love serious weather and this painting is all about that! I used paynes gray, yellow ochre and prussian blue to get the deep storm color of the sky. The movement of the clouds and the water gives this work depth. Skies and weather are often the focus in my work and this painting is no exception. This oil painting is on Arches paper made specifically for oil paint. Arches is a high quality, extremely durable paper that is made in the village of Arches,France.
