About this artwork

This piece is third in a series of figure paintings. As this series has progressed, I've been playing around with hints of different colors, such as the vibrant red, while still trying to maintain the image's stark contrast. This piece's edges are finished in a smooth black acrylic, and it comes wired to hang.
