About this artwork

A single rock formation rises from the still waters of Lake Powell, its dark umber tones reflected almost perfectly on the calm surface below. Warm orange sand along the shoreline contrasts with the deep tones of the lake. A small cloud in the distant sky adds a subtle sense of scale and space. The artwork is painted on aluminum composite. Artist McGarren Flack has a 3/4-inch gold leaf frame available to make it ready to hang.
