About this artwork
McGarren Flack spent many hours and multiple painting sessions painstakingly working out the intricate details of this glowing nude. He painted in delicate layers perfecting the incredible lighting on the skin. I created this piece focusing on the subtle and intricate information found around the ribs, says McGarren. I feel like the colors and dynamic pose express the support ribs address on a daily basis. The piece pays homage to classic proportions and poses, while adding a contemporary seductive element.
