About this artwork
A boy leaps through the air, arms outstretched and ready to hit the water. This painting is part of Nata's signature Summer series, in which she typically sketches at the beach and then creates the final piece in her studio. She painted this work in May of 2020 after several months of sheltering inside her home. Perhaps most of all I dream of freedom, says Nata. Running up and jumping into the water. And it doesn't matter what it will be, the sea, the ocean or a small river.
