About this artwork

A photograph taken from a car driving past a restaurant in Chicago was the source for this painting. Named after the villa in the South of France where the Rolling Stones recorded Exile on Main Street, Nellcôte (now closed) was the artist's dream spot: romantic rock and roll in a 100 year old building.
