About this artwork
What lies hidden in the middle of an oak woodland? asks artist Suzanne Massion. Inspired by her discovery of this small lake years ago, Suzanne painted an early fall scene. She often returns to happily find it is still there. I have painted the scene over the years. Oak trees grew to surround the water. Every season brings a change to what I see. I love the challenge to paint something new.
